Overview

Prompt

Delaware State University's Office of IE & TIX had a simple website that didn't reflect the offices services and resources. There weren't enough child pages to effectively convey what the office provides. Additionally, the visuals were out of line with the university's brand guidelines. A new webpage was needed to resolve these issues.

My Role

As the sole web designer on this project, I paid keen attention to the school's branding as well as other webpages to develop a website that accurately reflects what the office provides in a welcoming manner. I also worked closely with the office to ensure the content aligned with their goals.

Initial Research

Background Research

Research Goals

  • Determine the key facets of Title IX that DSU wants to promote to students

  • Present resources in a visually appealing and engaging manner

  • Identify what obstacles students face in reporting Title IX obligations and use that to frame information in an accessible way

High-fidelity Design

Final Webpages

After receiving feedback from departmental leads, iterations were made to enhance accessibility of content. We also worked on child pages to ensure each page presented imperative information for students to access on various website pages.
